Lauren Tate is a blonde. She’s an actress, too, but sometimes we wonder. We mean, of course, she has the body of an actress, the toned and seductive tool that she uses to suspend our disbelief and drop our drawers for a rally around the flagpole salute to her talents. No argument there. But is it really acting when it’s really happening? What we mean in a film like I Wish You Would (2003) where Lauren plays a lesbian, is she really playing?
